Glenshire PorchFest

A neighborhood music festival—right on your street.

Sunday, September 13 · 1–5 PM

Rolands Way · Evensham Place · Worchester Circle

Glenshire, Truckee, CA

What is Porchfest?

Glenshire PorchFest is a free, grassroots music and arts festival where neighbors turn porches, lawns, and driveways into live performance spaces. Walk the neighborhood. Discover local musicians. Dance in the street. No tickets. No pressure. Just a really good afternoon together.

Why are we doing this?

Inspired by the magic of Glenshire—Halloween nights, winter luminaries, summer concerts—PorchFest is about bringing people together in the best way we know how: through music, creativity, and community. This is what makes our neighborhood feel like home.

Get Involved

This event only works because of you.

  • Host a performer
  • Perform (music, art, dance, whatever you’ve got)
  • Become a sponsor
  • Join the planning crew

How it Works

1.

Neighbors volunteer their porch, driveway or yard as a small stage.

2.

Local musicians sign up to play a 50-minute set.

3.

We match bands with host homes.

4.

Attendees stroll from stop to stop enjoying live music.

We’ll publish a simple map and schedule once participants are confirmed.

This is our first year — we’re keeping it relaxed, friendly, and easy.

Neighbors — Host a Porch Stage

Do you live on Rolands Way, Evensham Place, or Worchester Circle?

Have a porch, driveway, or front yard with a little space?

You can be a venue.

You don’t need anything fancy. Just:

  • A safe space for a small group to play

  • Access to power

We’ll handle:

  • Matching you with a band

  • Porta-Potties at both ends of the neighborhood

Performers — We’d Love You to Play

Are you a local musician? Solo acoustic? Jazz trio? Indie band? Bluegrass? Kid-friendly rock?

Porchfest is built for short, sweet, neighborhood-friendly sets.

What to expect:

  • 50 minute sets

  • Bring your own instruments and sound system

  • Keep it community-appropriate and neighbor-friendly

This is about sharing music, not blasting the block. Think warm summer evening energy.

If you’ve ever wanted to play for a front-yard crowd full of smiling families and familiar faces — this is it.
